Step-by-step process
- Visit ESIC website and access online registration — Go to https://www.esic.gov.in. Click 'Employer Services' > 'Online Registration' or 'eESIC Services'. Select 'New Employer Registration'.
- Create new account on ESIC eServices portal — Click 'New User' or 'Create Account'. Provide email, password, mobile number, and verify OTP. Account is created for accessing ESIC portal.

- Enter bank account and financial details — Provide employer's bank account number, IFSC code, account holder name, and bank name. This account will be used for ESI contribution payments and refunds.
- Declare total number of employees and average salary — Specify total number of employees in your establishment (must be ≥10 or as per state rule). Provide average monthly salary of employees. System calculates ESI contribution (employer 3.25% + employee 0.75% of wages).
- Provide authorized representative details — Enter details of the person authorized to represent you with ESIC: name, designation, email, mobile, and Aadhaar. This person will receive ESIC notices and communications.
- Review and verify all entered information — Portal displays complete registration application summary: employer details, address, bank account, employee count, representative details. Verify each section for accuracy before submission.
